New York City Attractions!

Looking for an affordable night out with the family or a big league experience at minor league prices? Consider the Brooklyn Cyclones.

The Brooklyn Cyclones are the New York Mets minor league baseball team. They play in the Penn League and since they began playing once again in 2001, the Brooklyn Cyclones have had a string of outstanding successes. They’ve only missed the playoffs three times since returning to the league nine years ago, when after a nearly half–century absence, they returned to the Coney Island’s KeySpan Park.

The Cyclones sellout nearly all of their games each season. KeySpan Park has 7500 seats and they usually sell those out and sell standing room only seats too. The Cyclones lead the New York Penn League in attendance each year. Their highest attendance this year was their opening day crowd, which swelled to 9284.

Ticket sales and attendance have also been strong since 2001. Ticket prices start at just $11 which means you can take a family of four for less than the single price of a New York Mets ticket. Families and baseball fans looking for a true baseball experience are the core fan base of this successful franchise. The Cyclones play at fan friendly KeySpan Park, located off the Coney Island boardwalk in the Coney Island Section of Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Cyclones play in the New York Penn League. This is the minor league baseball farm system which operates out of the north east United States. The Penn League is classified as a Short–Season A league, which means that its season starts in June, as opposed to the MLB schedule, which starts in March. This allows for the Major League Baseball teams to sign their amateur draft picks to professional contracts before the minor league season begins. Their season ends in early September.
