Format text in Google+ posts

by Admin

Did you know you can format text in your Google+ post? You can spruce up your text with bold text, italics and/or strikethroughs to single words, or phrases. You only need to enclose the word or words with a pair special characters.

Use these special characters to format your Google Plus posts:

To get Bold text put an asterisk before the words or phrase like this: *bold text on GooglePlus*

If you want to make the text italicized just enclose the word or phrase in underscores: _italicized text on GooglePlus_

To strikethrough text put a dash before and after the word or phrase -strikethrough text on GooglePlus-

Do NOT leave any leading or trailing spaces between the asterisk, underscores or dashses or else the font decoration wont work. And don’t forget to use #hashtags!
